Governor Henry Seriake Dickson yesterday visited a number of project sites in Yenagoa, the state capital to see the extent of work done so far.
The projects visited were the Police Officers’ Mess, construction work at the Road Safety Road, Transparency Plaza, Outer Ring Road linking the Bayelsa Palm and AIT road.
Governor Dickson also visited the School of Tourism, Catering and Hospitality Management under construction using direct labour and supervised by the Ministry of Special Projects, as well as the Peace Park and Ox Bow Lake.
He was accompanied on the visit by Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Lawrence Erudjakpor, his counterpart of the Ministry of Special Projects, Mr. Fred Obua, that of Agriculture, Dr. Thomas Commander as well as Capital City Development , Mr. Zuwa Konugah.
Also on the governor’s entourage were the Commissioners for Lands and Survey, Surveyor Furoebi Akene and Culture and Ijaw National Affairs, Dr. Felix Tuodolo.
