GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT


As part of activities marking His Excellency, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson’s first one year in office as Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency Retired Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah, Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State will be addressing a press briefing as follows.

Date: Wednesday, 23rd of January, 2013
Time: 9 O’clock in the morning
Venue: Banquet hall, Government House, Yenagoa.

All political appointees in the State are expected to be in attendance and on time too.

Journalists are advised to come along with their invitation letters as admission will be strictly on invitation.

Furthermore, there will be tour project sites and Ministerial briefing with Journalists as follows:

Day one: Ministry of Works and Infrastructure – Lawrence Ewrudjakpor

Day Two: Friday, 25th of January, 2013 Ministry of Transport by Marie Ebikake

Day Three: Monday, 28th of January, 2013, Ministry of Special Projects

Day Four: Tuesday, 29th of January, 2013 Ministry of Education by Salo Adikumo

Day Five: Wednesday, 30th of January, 2013 Ministry of Finance/ Treasury Accounts/ Economic Team/ Ministry of Science and Technology

Day Six: Thursday, 31st of January, 2013 Ministry of Energy by Francis Ikio

Day Seven: Friday, 1st of February, 2013 Special Adviser on Security, Retired Col Bernard Kenbai

Day Eight: Monday, 4th of February, 2013 Ministry of Agriculture by Dr. Thomas Commander

Day Nine: Tuesday, 5th of February, 2013 Ministry of Sports

Day Ten: Wednesday, 6th of February, 2013 Ministry of Health

Day Eleven: Thursday, 7th of February, 2013 Ministry of Housing
